Cypress Oil
Now a mainstay of the Mediterranean basin, the Cypress tree had it’s origins in Persia. A long living conifer, Cypress trees have a lifespan of several hundred years. It’s trademark tapered shape comes from its compactly bound branches.
The raw material used for producing Cypress Oil comes from the very young and leafy plants. Harvesting occurs every few years, and the resulting essential oil has a very terpenic fresh woody pine odor.
