Decanal Natural, also known as Aldehyde c-10, is an organic compound with a very pungent, sweet, floral and waxy orange peel-like odor. When diluted, it softens into a fresher, pleasant citrus scent. Decanal is useful in creating citrus flavors such as orange and grapefruit. It is commonly used in fragrances, though in small doses.
