Thyme oil is a steam distilled derivative of the perennial Thymus Vulgaris. It is a reddish brown to orange liquid that possesses a wide array of qualities. Due to its potent odor and unique taste, the oil is used in perfumes as well as in the kitchen. It is currently the strongest antioxidant known, and is successfully used to boost the immune and digestive system. As a strong antiseptic it can be used successfully in mouthwash, for colds and other ailments.
