This wild daisy-like flower can be found throughout Europe. When dried and distilled the resulting essential oil is very aromatic with an overriding herbal odor with fruity undertones. It is used often in herbal medicine to treat mild stomach, digestion, and urinary tract ailments.  Due to its vasoconstrictive nature it is also successfully used for treating inflammation, acne, and arthritis.
